King Lear, regarded as one of Shakespeare's greatest plays, is a tragedy based on the mythological Leir of Britain and the misfortunes that befall him as he divides his power and land between two of his daughters in preparation for his old age. CTP's production is directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Logan Sledge and features Professor of Theatre Don Hooper in the title role.
