Program Overview

Students interested in developing art literacy or pursuing Art History at the graduate level can complete the Art History minor.

Minor Requirements

  • ART 101: Intro to Visual Analysis: Ancient through Medieval Art & Culture
  • ART 102: Intro to Visual Analysis: Renaissance through Contemporary Art & Culture
  • ART 202: Controversy & Crisis in Visual Culture
  • ART 201: Issues in Public Art & Architecture or ART 250: Design History

    Analytical & Cultural Fluency (2 courses)
  • ART 305: American Icons & Visual Culture
  • ART 306: Modern & Contemporary Art
  • ART 310: History of Photography
