To Boldy Go...
We don’t yet know what challenges this next generation of students will face in tomorrow’s job market. But we do know this: their journey will require a dynamic blend of the logic of science and the spark of imagination. At this year’s symposium, celebrate the courage it takes to explore new frontiers, challenge convention, and envision possibilities that lie just beyond the visible horizon. Join us as we chart paths across disciplines and develop a shared vision to move us forward together. We invite proposals for presentations that engage with the following questions:
- As educators, our goal is always to see our students live long and prosper. How do we best prepare ourselves and our students for a future filled with challenging unknowns and exciting opportunities?
- How can we foster an enterprising spirit in students through STEAM education, encouraging them develop solutions that address real-world challenges?
- What are our best interdisciplinary tools and methods? What opportunities are there for inventing new pedagogical techniques?
- What are your favorite classroom discoveries? What seemed alien to you in the past that you now embrace as an essential part of your teaching practice?
- How can we create spaces and experiences that encourage students to blend evidence-based strategies with unconventional, out-of-the-box thinking? How can we motivate students to take their best idea and make it so?
- How can we work together beyond traditional boundaries—bridging disciplines, grade levels, and learning environments?
- Sometimes resistance to change is futile. How can we prepare students to grow alongside cutting-edge technology like generative AI? How do we empower them to combine human curiosity, ethical awareness, and data integrity, so they not only grasp these tools but actively shape their future?
- How do we inspire students (and ourselves) to take risks, embracing the unknown with bravery and accountability?
Let’s boldly go, where no one has gone before!
