Many families consider private colleges out of their reach, but with 100% of first-year students receiving some form of financial aid, Centenary is actually a very affordable choice for many students. The College was named a 2021 “Best Value” by the Princeton Review, a designation reserved for just 1% of the nation’s four-year colleges that recognizes excellence in academics, generous financial aid, and stellar career services.

Thanks to a combination of merit-based scholarships, institutional scholarships and grants, state and federal scholarships and grants, out-of-state grants, artistic merit scholarships, and other financial aid options, Centenary student debt is less than the national average.

Some highlights of Centenary’s value include:

  • NEW Centenary Affordability Pledge (CAP) that provides full tuition assistance for Louisiana students who are TOPS and Pell-eligible. The College makes up any gap left after these tuition assistance programs are applied! Visit centenary.edu/cap for more information.
  • There is no difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
  • Accepted first-year students receive between $10,000 to $30,000 in academic scholarships.
  • Non-Louisiana students with a Centenary GPA* of 3.0 or above receive a $5,000 grant on top of their academic scholarships.
  • Louisiana students receive between $5,718-$6,518 in tuition aid from the State of Louisiana’s TOPS program on top of their academic scholarships.

*Centenary GPA: Recalculated GPA based on core courses only, on a four-point scale.
