Athletic Facilities Available for Rent

• Gold Dome 
  The iconic Gold Dome can accommodate basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and other indoor sports, and can also accommodate special events such as large conferences and concerts. 

• Shehee Stadium (Baseball)
  The facility includes first-rate grandstand seating and a fully functional press box and sound system. The bleacher-style seating is wheelchair accessible.

• Softball Field
  The Centenary Softball Complex offers one of the finest collegiate playing venues in the region. This outstanding complex boasts seating for 500, sound system, and an electronic scoreboard. The facility also includes a lighted and covered three-tunnel batting cage and a dual home bullpen. Restrooms and a concession stand for the fans are located just steps from the bleachers. The press box is equipped with shatter-proof sliding glass doors and a heating and cooling system.

• Mayo Field (Soccer & Lacrosse)
  Surrounded by stately iron fencing, Mayo Field is Centenary College’s competitive soccer and lacrosse field. The stands at Mayo Field seat 500 patrons, with locker rooms housed nearby for players. The field itself features an underground drainage system that allows for play in adverse weather conditions.

• Tennis Courts
  Centenary’s tennis facilities feature hard courts for both men and women’s teams. Netting and wind screens provide a private, enclosed space for players to concentrate on their form and game.

How to Rent Campus Athletic Facilities

• Arrangements for use of Centenary College athletic fields and courts by outside teams are made with the Conference and Event Coordinator. Please call 318.869.5778.

• A Certificate of Insurance naming Centenary College as additional insured is required before a contract is signed.

• A refundable deposit is due when the contract is signed.

• Payments are made by check or money order made out to Centenary College. Credit cards are not accepted unless pre-approved by the Conference and Event Coordinator.

  Each facility can be rented by the game/practice or by the day. Practice times are charged. A list of games and practices, including dates and times is required at the time the contract is signed. If practices are added, the Conference and Event Coordinator must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.

• The contracted facility can only be used on the scheduled days and times. Security will be notified of facility use. Teams or individuals using Centenary Facilities without a contract will be escorted off the property.
