Katharyn DeVille to lead Centenary marketing and communication

Centenary College is pleased to announce that Katharyn DeVille joined Centenary College as senior director of marketing and communication on February 1. DeVille will lead the department’s work in promoting Centenary and telling the College’s story through both internal and external communication, including media relations, marketing, and branding.

DeVille is a seasoned communications professional with experience in both Louisiana and Texas. She has an extensive background in television and digital news and marketing. She began her career with an internship at Shreveport’s KSLA News 12 while still a college student. Within a few years, she advanced to an executive producer position at WGNO New Orleans.  Later, she moved to Dallas to produce newscast at WFAA, a top ten market.  In her career, she has held two corporate leadership roles with large media companies. With Raycom Media, she was a regional marketing director and worked with dozens of TV station marketing teams to grow their audiences across platforms. As Vice President of Marketing at Visit Shreveport-Bossier, she helped develop and launch a new brand and destination master plan.  She also helped grow audiences online and in social media.
