Between classes, campus involvement, and social activities, most Centenary students keep a pretty full calendar. Centenary has over 60 registered student organizations that receive support from the Student Government Association. You can learn more about them via the Engage portal here

Register your org

Organization registration is mandatory once a year for all active student groups. Registration ensures support from the Office of Student Involvement and also makes groups eligible to request funds from the Student Government Association. The registration process is handled online through the Engage portal.

Find Your Niche

The Office of Student Involvement offers many opportunities for students to get involved and connected on campus. All students are invited to attend Campus Connections, a student organization fair during Welcome Week at the beginning of the academic year. Students are encouraged to set up an Involvement meeting with the Office of Student Involvement Staff to discuss interests and hobbies in order to determine what student organization(s) would be the best fit.

Start a new org

If you want to do something nobody's doing yet, the Office of Student Involvement can help you start your own student-led group. All you need is an advisor, five members, and a petition signed by 25 of your peers that shows support for your new organization.

Event planning & publicity

If you need to schedule an event for your group and get people to attend, be sure to add the event to the Engage portal, fill out a calendar request to reserve a room, and complete the What's Happening form to have your event included in the bi-weekly What's Happening? email sent to all students.

The Office of Marketing and Community can also assist with promotion including flyer design, social media promotion, and tee-shirt design. Fill out a job request at Centenary.edu/request

To reserve a room or equipment needed from Facilites please submit a calendar request to reserve a room and request equipment. Learn how here or contact events@centenary.edu.
